Louisiana Road Home Program

If you were a homeowner in Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina or Rita, you may be eligible for funds from the state even if you do not plan on rebuilding your property!

ACORN Housing is contracting with the Louisiana Road Home program to guide homeowners through the process of applying for funds and to answer questions about the program.

The Road Home provides funds for the following three options:

• if you would like to stay in your property and rebuild or repair
• if you would like to sell your property and purchase another property in the state of Louisiana
• if you would like to sell your property and relocate out of Louisiana or to a rental property in Louisiana.

The process for applying and receiving funds can be complicated, but it doesnt have to be.
