The Kuji Center is a community-based teenage pregnancy prevention program for youth between the ages of 11 and 18. The comprehensive services program provides a safe, nurturing, and cohesive environment that incorporates education, vocational, health, recreation, and counseling services based on culture, ethics and perspective of the area residents. Kuji is short for kujichagulia, a Swahili word which means self-determination.
